Apoptotic signal transduction and cancer biology.

研究 activities are focused on the development of tumor markers and targets for cancer therapy. Work is also going on to elucidate the molecular mechanisms regulating cell death and survival signaling in normal and cancer cells to better understand the processes of cancer development and progression, 并发展出新颖的, more efficacious and less toxic anticancer agents. 研究 is also focused on cellular responses to genotoxic, ER and metabolic stresses.
